This is a small zoo. You can walk through it in about 1 hour. Being able to walk through the potowatomi exhibit is a unique experience. I would recommend checking it out if you're in the area, but don't make a special trip there.

Okay, so its no Brookfield zoo. But for the area, its a nice place. The zoo has quite a few animals. Favorites of our family have always included the reptile house and the petting zoo. Its nicely kept up and has a small picnic area outside so that you can make a nice day out of it. Admission is extremely affordable, so it can be a nice family outing spot.

I love this zoo but because it is land locked on its current spot it can't really expand to get more exotic animals. I stil enjoy going there even though Im 25 years old! The gift shop is great too, although a bit expensive but the profits go towards the animals care. I still love to pay a quarter for some food to feed the fish and ducks.
PROS: Animals
CONS: Nice if it could be bigger
